Marek Pospieszlaski is a Polish saxophonist who was listed in the German magazine JazzThing as one of the 25 most promising European musicians.  He is also a composer whose most recent works have been arrangements of the works of 20th Century Polish Composers and the follow up album arrangements of the works of 20th Century Female Polish Composers.

For this gig, however, he will be playing with improvising vocalist Maggie Nicols and a small group led by Tymek Jozwiak, a drummer originally from Poland who studied on the jazz course at the Conservatoire and stayed.

The opening set will also feature Maggie Nicols playing in duo with local hero saxophonist/flautist Xhosa Cole.
