A product of the Birmingham jazz scene, saxophonist and researcher Mike Fletcher is a deeply thoughtful improviser. Building on the success of the previous Fizzle|Solo gig in May, Fletcher will be inviting another group of improvisers to perform short solo sets, and to talk about their performance responding to his research on the practice of solo improvisation.
