Paul Dunmall has always taken an interest in jazz students emerging from the Conservatoire course and given them vital opportunities to perform in a freely improvised context. Guitarist Ollie Canham is a recent graduate of the Conservatoire who has impressed Dunmall with his improvising and will be making up the quartet for this gig alongside bassist Olie Brice and drummer Will Glaser.

In 2022 Canham was the co-winner of the Phil Miller Guitar Prize, and in 2023 he won the Mike Gibbs Composition and Arranging Prize. Glaser - an outstanding young drummer, highly in demand on the jazz scene - will be playing with Paul for the first time. Brice, on the other hand, plays regularly with Dunmall and always drives the music in fascinating new directions
