Saxophonist Larry Stabbins has been at the cutting edge of British improvised music for over five decades, with credits including Keth Tippett, Brotherhood of Breath, Louis Moholo, Elton Dean, Working Week, and pop band Weekend. Stabbins will perform alongside the brilliant percussionist Mark Sanders, having previously played together in trios with Pat Thomas and Paul Rogers, and a quartet with Howard Riley and Tony Wren. It will be a fantastic opportunity to hear these two titans join forces once again.

Lara Jones’ experiments with electronic instruments and genre-bending performances have seen her career going from strength to strength. She has been a regular visitor to Birmingham over the past few years and we are incredibly pleased to be showcasing her forward-thinking music in one of Birmingham’s best loved music venues, the Hare & Hounds.
