Another of our Coltrane centenary celebrations, we have a fantastic triple bill paying homage to different works by the tenor master, curated by TDE Promotions, Paul Dunmall and John O’Gallagher.

Set 1 will be a collaboration between Paul Dunmall and John O’Gallagher, and students of Royal Birmingham Conservatoire’s jazz course, as they embark on Coltrane’s masterpiece, Ascension.

The second set will feature a sextet of Paul Dunmall, John O'Gallagher, Sophia Domancich, Caius Williams, Miles Levin and Will Glaser, as they revisit the music of another of Coltrane's great albums, Meditations.

Whilst these sets are taking place, Birmingham-based electronics duo ELDA (Andrew Woodhead & Aaron Diaz) will be busy in the Lab at RBC recording and manipulating, ready for Set 3 - a live remix set.
