Centrala, Fazeley Street, Birmingham, UK

General information

Centrala arts space is a gallery, café, and performance space run by Birmingham's Polish Expats Association. Tucked away by the canal at the back of Digbeth's Minerva Works, Centrala has played host to Fizzle gigs since our return to live events after lockdown.

Times and dates

Fizzle gigs at Centrala take place on the final Sunday of each month. Doors open at 2pm and music starts by 2.15pm. Each gig is a double bill featuring a 45-minute set from each band or artist.

Tickets are available to be purchased online through the Centrala website or on the door. Card payments are preferred for on-the-door sales although cash payments for tickets can be made at the bar.

The venue has a bar which sells a range of hot and cold drinks including alcohol. There are also a limited number of cakes on sale.

There is limited free parking available inside the gates of Minerva Works. There is also plenty of on-street parking available which is free on Sundays.

Access to the building

The entrance to the building is accessible from street level. Parking close to the entrance of the venue can be reserved upon request.

Access to the performance space

In most cases our gigs at Centrala will take place on the ground floor. Occasionally we will use the upstairs space which is not wheelchair accessible. We will clearly indicate events which will be taking place upstairs.
