Eastside Jazz Club

Birmingham Conservatoire, Jennens Road, Birmingham, UK

General information

Situated inside the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, the Eastside Jazz Club is Birmingham's only venue designed specifically for live jazz. It is also the home of TDE Promotions' monthly 'Paul Dunmall Invites' series which feature world-renowned improvising saxophonist Paul Dunmall and a band of invited guests that changes from month to month. Ranging from long-time collaborators to recent graduates, Dunmall's invitees demonstrate the depth and breadth of his collaborative work and each event showcases his ability to adapt to different group dynamics. Each performance also features a support slot from students of the RBC jazz course. This is a great opportunity to hear young musicians at the very start of their careers presenting the fruits of their studies.
